Porringer bowls were used for serving porridge or gruel, and had attached sturdy handles so children could hold them easily. This Lunt porringer has a clown embossed on the base of the bowl to entice the little ones to eat their porridge or oatmeal. This item is in fair vintage condition, it is silver plated and still has the original brand sticker on it.
